Above.com is the title sponsor for NamesCon Global 2022. This is a big jump from last year when it was the gold sponsor.
The reason behind this upgrade is Above.com’s parent company Trellian. It is turning 25 years old this year. To mark the anniversary, Above.com decided to sponsor the first NamesCon social event in over Two and a half years.
NamesCon Global 2022’s first day kicked off by a conversation with CEO OF Above.com, David Warmuz. David was interviewed by DNJournal’s Ron Jackson. It was followed by an Opening Reception celebrating Trellian’s Silver Jubilee.
An interesting thing about Trelian is the long list of brands owned by it. It is also of significance as how a number of brands have come up in the Domain Name sector alone. Apart from Above.com, Trellian also owns DROP, Netfleet, DomainShield, DomainState, dntrade.com.au, Domainer, Fabulous.com.au, Yexa and Help.com.au.
