Russians might have had their last BigMac

The Russia Ukraine crisis continues to drag on and on. The damage done to the economy is yet to be totally accessed. However, Russia won’t be pleased to see the developments.

McDonald’s, the iconic symbolisation of Capitalism and Globalisation is finally packing its back from the country. The Company plans to sell 84% of itself that includes more than 850 restaurants

The Company plans to sell their restaurants to local players. The buyer however won’t be able to use the Logo, Branding and Menu of McDonald’s. This has left the Russian entities sceptical about the issue.

The rolling out of McDonald’s is not a mere financial loss to Russia. This is the indicator of the loss in the brand value of Russia.

McDonald’s was also the symbol of openness and togetherness across the world. It was a thing which most of the people from the World could relate to.

Russia has now lost this. The war has resulted in an inestimable damage to the lives of people there. The repercussions of these would be left for the Russian people to feel with.

Right now it might be missing your favourite burger!
