Live Nation gets handed a restraining order

In a previous post, we talked about the dispute between Golden Voice and Live Nation over a music concert being held, called Coachella Day One 22. The final verdict of the dispute is yet to be announced, however the country has issued a restraining order

The court has ordered a restraining order to Live Nation over the festival going to be held at Coachella. Live Nation contested that the original Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival wouldn’t lose anything significant over another one-day concert being held at Coachella. However the court found that the mention of the term Coachella is likely to confuse people with one another.

Even before the judgement came, Live Nation had already changed the name of the event. The event as of now is being simply called Day One 22. Although the judgement hasn’t been announced yet, the side of Golden Voice does look stronger here.
