Fake websites masquerading as Indian firms surface

Phishing scams and fraudulent websites are on the rise. Platforms like these claim to offer great offers and quick money, while they lure you into their trap and steal vital information and much more

Similar cases have surfaced where two websites have been personating two Indian firms SBI and AMUL. SBI is one of the largest banks in India, while AMUL is a huge dairy cooperative. Two fake websites claiming to offer a reward of ₹ 50,000 and ₹6,000 respectively on answering a questionnaire were making their rounds on the internet. The former was mimicking SBI while the latter AMUL.

The websites were: bank.v0s.com and prefereabletask.xyz. Both SBI and AMUL rejected any such offers associated with them. These both websites are fraudulent and one should stay away from them. In fact, when trying to reach v0s.com, I found another fake offer. On the second level domain name, an iPhone was being offered!

As of now, prefereabletask.xyz is not working while bank.v0s.com is still functional
