Fasthosts giving free .com domains for an year

Are you looking to get your perfect .com domain registered? Or are you a domain investor looking to buy strategic domain names with the potential for heavy returns? We have some good news for you. You can get your .com domain name free of cost, for a year!

Fasthosts has launched a new offer, giving away .com domains free for a year. Not only .com domains, but it also offering .co.uk and .uk at just £1. Users can also purchase Fasthosts’ other features that includes Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Cloud Servers and Virtual Private Servers.

Although the domain name is offered free for the first year, there is a catch. The domain names are indeed free, however there are no single year plans available. You can choose only a multi year plan, which starts from a minimum of  2 years. This means that essentially, the offer equates to a 50% discount when considering the total amount paid for the 2 year time period.

However, this is still an interesting way to market and brand your platform. An offer giving away free .com domains is bound to gain attraction. The multi-year plan is definitely bound to annoy the excited individuals and small investors. However, for large portfolio investors this could be of great value. Saving the cost for the first year of registration can significantly lower down the acquisition costs.

Like Fasthosts there are many hosting websites which provide .com extensions for free. for a year or more when you sign up for an inexpensive website hosting package. Bluehost and Hostinger offer the best packages to get a free .com domain. If anyone want to setup their own low-budget website then they can use this free extension to attach their website.

This seems like an attractive offer for those looking to register a .com domain name or buy strategic domain names. While the offer of a free domain name for a year is certainly tempting, it’s important to note that this offer requires users to sign up for a multi-year plan, starting from a minimum of 2 years. This may be a turnoff for some, particularly smaller investors or individuals who are not looking to commit to a long-term plan. Nonetheless, for those who are interested in building a larger domain name portfolio, this offer could be a cost-effective way to acquire new domain names.
