CentralNIC has bought the direct navigation internet company Team Internet AG at $ 48 Million.
The $ 48 Million consists of $ 45 Million cash ($ 3 Million of which is deferred) and $ 3 Million in share consideration.
Munich based Team Internet- a subsidiary of advertising technology provider Matomy Media, monetizes over 20 Million domains. The company has two divisions: ParkingCrew and Tonic.
ParkingCrew is a domain parking service platform while Tonic is an easy-to-use self-service platform to buy and sell traffic. Team Internet generated $ 66.7 Million of revenue and $ 10.6 Million of adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation in the 12 months (May 2018-June 2019).
The new acquisition brings new horizons to CentralNIC with the shining prospects of domain related web services and zero click market.
