Warner Bros. Registers New Domains, Hints At Upcoming Games

DC fans, the much-speculated games on Batman and Suicide Squad might be out sooner than expected! MarkMonitor Inc Inc, Warner Bros Inc’s often used domain broker recently registered two domains for each of them – GothamKnightsGame.com and SuicideSquadGame.com. Another one, SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeLeague.com was also registered, possibly the name for the Suicide Squad game.

Fans are contemplating that the game on Batman might be named Batman: Gotham Knights while that of the Suicide Squad could go with its namesake too. It has been long rumoured that a Suicide Squad game is in the works, and another Batman game is a no-brainer. Rocksteady Studios, the developer behind the Batman:Arkham trilogy is rumoured to be working on the Suicide Squad game while Batman: Gotham Knights might be in the works of WB Games Montreal, the one behind the prequel Batman:Arkham Origins.

Batman: Gotham Knights was a comic book series that ran from 2000 to 2006, featuring Batman and his extended family that includes Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, Oracle, Catwoman, and Alfred. A game with the same title will likely bring these characters into a more prominent role compared to the Batman: Arkham games.

Last week, DC had announced its upcoming FanDome event, which will be held on August 22, full of details on new movies, comics and new announcements. WB Games also stated that it would be revealing something new, and fans are guessing it to be about the new games!
