LeoVegas AB, the Swedish iGaming operator announced that it would make a version of its virtual casino platform GoGoCasino.com available to players in its neighbouring country, Finland. The casino was launched in the domestic locale in March last year.
The step marks the casino brand’s entry into the international realm, Finland being the first in series. The company attributes the casino platform’s success to its simplicity and speed, which were valued by players. The resulting outcome thus exceeded expectations.
“GoGoCasino is the first new brand to be launched on our proprietary multibrand platform, and it is exciting to see that our customers appreciate the product and experience,” said Gustaf Hagman, Group CEO. “The fact that at GoGoCasino has done so well in the regulated market in Sweden shows our ability to use our proprietary technology to create new, appreciated brands with economies of scale and synergies across the Group. Finland is the first new market for GoGoCasino outside Sweden, and I am looking forward to scaling up the brand internationally.”
Other iGaming domains that the Group operates are RoyalPanda.com, BetUK.com, 21.co.uk, SlotBoss.co.uk and Pixel.bet. They all fall under the Brands of Leo multi-brand platform. Following the successful debut of GoGoCasino.com, it launched LiveCasino.com under the Brands of Leo umbrella.
GoGoCasino was developed by a small team using existing resources within the Group. LeoVegas aims to launch a number of customized brands that appeal to certain target groups. With LiveCasino, it strives to take a leading position in the live casino niche, which is “the fastest growing product category in the gaming market.”
